I was asked to detail how I make sweet tea…so here we go !

1) Boil 2 quarts of water.

Cut heat, add 5 family sized tea bags for 5 minutes (box instructions say to use 4, I like mine a little stronger)

After 5 minutes, remove bags – squeeze if you want a little extra flavor.

Now – put 1 & 1/2 cups sugar in pitcher (or 3 “scoops” with my fancy utensils).

Now pour hot tea concentrate into pitcher.

Be sure to mix up/dissolve the sugar !!

Now – Get lots of  ice, add ice until you have a gallon.

Stir and Enjoy !!!!

We recently had Jamie King construct a deck for our house.

There were various construction issues along the way (wobbly railings, etc..) but they were for the most part resolved after much discussion.  There are some new issues that have cropped up since completion though.  Primarily, a deck board fastened improperly has raised up right in the middle of our deck – presenting a trip hazard for our daughter or any unsuspecting guests.   For two months now, I have been trying to get Jamie to honor his “5 year warranty” by fixing this board.  After he stopped answering my phone calls, we had to resort to calling from new numbers to get him to pick up the phone.  Each time, we would get a “Oh I’m sorry, I forgot” or “I’ll come by today or tomorrow” – only to have another no-show/no-call.  On the last incident, I left a less than pleasant message indicating I would start spreading my experience over the internet if he did not honor his warranty – so here I am.

Unfortunately there were no reviews available of Jamie’s work at the time I retained his services.   My intent is to share my experiences with any new potential customers of Jamie, so that they can make an informed decision.

After many nights of deliberation, we have finally made our Disney reservations.  Will be staying at Port Orleans French Quarter for 7 nights in March.  Now we have 3 months to work and rework our itinerary

Well – Finally got around to switching web hosting providers.  With that, I left the old website behind.  Over the coming weeks, I’ll be working on setting up new site here, along with gallery, etc…
